Annually, Dr. Mak treats over 3,000 patients, specializing in neuro-musculoskeletal conditions related to general health, sports injuries, personal injuries, and work-related injuries. Dr. Mak has a strong focus on chiropractic sports medicine, particularly in martial arts. He has served as a field physician for high-profile events such as the NACIVT International Asian Volleyball Tournament in 2009, the USAC International Beach Volleyball Tournament in 2013, and the International Taekwondo Tournament in 2014. His role in these settings underscores his commitment to athlete health and safety.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Mak has contributed significantly to education. He served as Associate Faculty at the Southern California University of Health Sciences from 2013 to 2015, where he trained future chiropractic professionals.
